Openreach Faults – ADSL SFI Appointment Availablility

Extended lead times for SFI appointment availability
Some parts of the UK have experienced very adverse weather conditions over recent weeks. As such our supplier Openreach is experiencing very high fault volumes in some locations causing extended lead-times for SFI appointment availability. The average time for a new SFI appointment is 2.08 days. A more detailed breakdown is shown below:

During this period we ask that you complete all Home Domain checks to try to reduce the need for an SFI visit. We also request that, where an SFI visit is taken, please do not contact us to check if there are any earlier appointments. Our systems are updated with the earliest available appointments. Openreach are working hard to recover this situation and return appointment lead times to normal, however this is likely to take several weeks with further fault intake expected from areas impacted by flooding as people are able to return to their homes and businesses.
